Dutch-born Moroccan K-1 champion Badr Hari was yet again the center of attention in Morocco after the authorities arrested him last Sunday in Marrakesh, following an altercation with some British tourists.
Local media said that the spat erupted in front of one of Marrakesh’s fancy palaces, where the Moroccan sportsman was spending the weekend.
As soon as the verbal spat escalated into a fight, the Moroccan police came on the fly to the scenes to ease the situation.
Local reports said that the K-1 champion was initially taken to a police station following the event, before being released later on.
