The Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) released a study on gender wage gap in Morocco.
According to the study, the Male–Female income difference in the private sector has reached a striking 25% disparity rate.
The report went on further to say that the said number puts Morocco in the 130th position internationally, way behind various Arab and African countries.
The CESE further noted in the report that during 2012, Moroccan women constituted only 30% of the total employees in the private sector.
