French president Hollande will be receiving tomorrow, February 9, King Mohammed VI at the Elyséé Palace.
A statement from the France Presidency said King Mohammed VI will be received at the Elyséé Palace Monday at 17:00 (16:00 GMT).
The meeting comes after a one-year-period marked by various diplomatic blunders, mainly following a diplomatic spat that has erupted last year between Paris and Rabat after that the French police attempted to arrest the Moroccan intelligence chief Abdellatif Hammouchi for torture charges against a French-Moroccan Kickboxer, back when the Intelligence chief was on a visit to Paris.
Since then, France and Morocco have decided last month to turn the page after nearly a year of estrangement. Both countries restored judicial cooperation to muzzle the growing terrorism threat in France and Morocco particularly, including the MENA region at large.
