Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- Dozens of students and around 24 Moroccan special forces officers were injured after that clashes errupted between Cadi Ayyad University students and police officers, following the Moroccan authorities preventing a march by the said students, a march that was aimed at protesting against the delay in receiving scholarships.
Local witnesses said that as soon as the march was prevented, students started rioting, including throwing stones at police officers.
The event also saw the arrest of around 40 students.
According to local sources, the clashes started in early afternoon and ended at night time.
