Moroccan Authorities Arrest Three-member ‘ISIS terror cell’

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)-Morocco’s  investigation police department, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ), an offshoot of Morocco’s domestic intelligence agency (DGST), busted today a three-member terrorist cell, which included a woman, operating in the cities of Casablanca, Fez, and Ouled Taima.

A statement in Arabic from Morocco’s Ministry of Interior said that “the elements have pledged allegiance to the terrorist organization, the so-called “Islamic State”.”

The Ministry’s statement added that the three elements were preparing to carry out terrorist attacks against sensitive targets in the kingdom.

Said elements will be brought to justice upon the conducting of a thorough investigation, the statement closed.
