Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to the Secretary General of the Tunisian Union of Young Entrepreneurs, Chedly Houas, the number of foreign investors who left Tunisia to settle in Morocco is estimated to be around 2000.
Chedly Houas, who gave an interview to the Tunisian News Agency TAP, further noted that “this high number of foreign investors fleeing the country is mainly due to the absence of tax benefits.”
Chedly Houas also said that the “absence of tax benefits adds to other administrative obstacles, making of Tunisia not that appealing to foreign investors in comparison to countries like Morocco.”
