Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- The recent seasonal rains Morocco has been witnessing recently triggered floods in some avenues of Morocco’s industrial hub, Casablanca.
The flooding in some streets even forced some drivers to abandon their cars as the featured video shows.
Workers also came to help out, trying to drain the floodwaters into tanker lorries as rain fell in.
Roads in the city center were unaffected, although traffic moved along Casablanca’s main streets more slowly than usual.
Many people drove through flooded streets, nonchalant of the danger.
Videos and pictures posted on Youtube and Facebook showed cars drowning in rainwater.
