Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Well-known Moroccan-Jewish human rights activist Sion Assidon –he is head of Transparency International Morocco section, as well as the head of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement Morocco section—said that, while giving a speech yesterday in Morocco’s Institut agronomique et vétérinaire Hassan II, “Moroccan Jews who headed to Israel and participated in Zionist crimes against Palestinians should be tried.”
“However, those who did not take part of those crimes, or those who refused joining the Israel military service, are more than welcome to return back to their country [Morocco],” Assidon stressed.
“Those latter will only need to apologize and strip their Zionist nationality,” Assidon added.
“Our Boycott movement is not against Jewish people or Judaism as some people advance.
“Our Boycott movement is against Zionism,” Assidon further noted.
