Rabat, Morocco(TMT)-The Economic, Social and Environmental Council, headed by Nizar Baraka, suggested in a recent report unveiled last Thursday in the parliament the introduction of sexual education in Morocco’s schools.

The report, which came as a result of a conducted study on the living circumstances of Morocco’s children, painted a grim image of this category, which comprises 35% (± 11 million) of the Moroccan population.

The report said that a large number of children are victims of violence and abuse, at least psychologically,”especially given that some social habits and norms are still persistent within the Moroccan society.”
