Rabat, (TMT) – Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, said on the sidelines of the monetary help the European Union donated to Morocco to combat the coronavirus, that the kingdom appreciates the EU’s solidarity move.
“Morocco welcomes the trust of the European Union and appreciates this gesture of solidarity,” Bourita stated.
The European Union Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement at the EU, Oliver Varhelyi also said that the EU “welcomed the strong and necessary measures, adopted promptly by the Kingdom of Morocco to deal with the spread of the virus and its effects.”
