Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- According to the Moroccan Ministry of Transport, Equipment, and Logistics, water consumption in Morocco has witnessed an increase since the enacting of the lockdown measures, guidelines taken to curve the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The filling rate of Morocco’s dams has, on the other hand, seen a slight increase, and is hovering around the 50% mark, the Ministry said.
The slight increase is due to the considerable amount of rain the county witnessed during the last 2 months, though the overall filling rate remains insufficient.
