Moroccan state to aid Royal Air Maroc with DH 500 million

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Nadia Fettah Alaoui, the Moroccan Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Handicrafts, and Social Economy said today amid a plenary session in the parliament’s house of representatives that Royal Air Maroc will receive DH 500 million aid from the state.

The move is part of the Moroccan government program to provide more than one billion Moroccan dirhams to support travel service providers in Morocco.

Fettah highlighted that “additional comprehensive proposals” to help the tourism sector will be unveiled in the upcoming days.
