Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A doctor in Oujda, Morocco has been convicted of sexually harassing female patients and has been sentenced to three years in prison, along with a monetary fine.
The doctor, who was employed in the private sector and specialized in treating ear, nose, and throat diseases, had been accused of making unwanted advances toward his female patients.
The court also ordered him to pay 50,000 dirhams as compensation to one specific woman and 20,000 dirhams to her husband.
The doctor was arrested last Tuesday after being questioned by the public prosecutor.
