Dakhla, Morocco (TMT)- Moroccan MP Hayat Laarache urged the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohammed Abdeljalil, to share with the public the steps that will be taken to ensure that the southern regions of Morocco benefit from the railway network expansion program, just like the other regions of the kingdom.
The Socialist Union parliamentarian emphasized the need to connect the southern regions to various cities in Morocco through a railway line.
Laarache added that the “railway will be instrumental in developing the infrastructure of the region, ending its isolation, promoting growth, and boosting the economy.”
She also noted that the Moroccan public in general has welcomed the recent modernization program of the railway sector and the expansion of its networks.
