Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Ministry of Justice in Morocco has reported an increase in women’s participation in justice professions, bringing the country closer to achieving gender equality in positions and jobs within the sector.

The number of female notaries has reached 46%, which is close to the target set in the government plan for 2026.

This progress was highlighted at the 16th conference of the International Association of Women Judges, held in Marrakesh under the theme “Women Judges: Achievements and Challenges”.

The Ministry also stated that women are being empowered to access positions of responsibility in the justice sector and a job framework is being created for them within family courts.
