Vegetable prices are expected to rise after Eid Al-Adha.
A group of professionals predict a rise in vegetable prices immediately after Eid Al-Adha, due to a lack of production.
Mohamed Al-Aloui, Treasurer of the Moroccan Association of Wholesale Market Users and Professionals, said that vegetable prices will see a noticeable increase immediately after Eid Al-Adha.
Al-Aloui added that the reason for the rise in vegetables after Eid Al-Adha is the shortage of vegetable production due to drought.
He pointed out that current vegetable prices have seen a slight decrease, especially onions, tomatoes, and potatoes.
