CASABLANCA-In a shocking turn of events, a man who was detained in a criminal case met a tragic end after jumping out of a window at an investigation room in the Judicial Police Department of Casablanca. The incident has left authorities and the public in a state of disbelief.
According to reports, the individual had been apprehended by the anti-drug squad in the Mers Sultan Fidaa neighborhood in Casablanca on charges of selling hashish. As part of the investigation procedures, the man was brought to the police headquarters for further questioning. However, during the course of the interrogation, he made a desperate escape attempt by leaping out of a window.
Regrettably, the man suffered severe injuries from the fall and was pronounced dead while being transported to the hospital.
The body of the deceased has been transferred to a local morgue, where a medical autopsy will be conducted. The National Brigade of the Judicial Police has taken charge of the case and is leading the investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. Their primary objective is to comprehensively examine the sequence of events that transpired at the investigation office and to uncover any potential factors that may have contributed to this tragic outcome.
