Abdelaziz Aftati, a leader in the Justice and Development Party in Morocco, has publicly criticized what he referred to as “a storm of Israeli officials visits in Morocco,” referring to them as figures of “Zionist crime, racial discrimination, and settlement aggression”.

He expressed his disapproval in a Facebook post, suggesting that these visits would benefit Morocco neither in the short nor in the long term, and instead, “they would create a rift between Morocco and its Maghrebi, Arab, Islamic, and African heritage.”

Aftati also showed his support for Palestine, asserting that the normalization of relations with Israel is inevitably failing and that the “settler racist entity” will undoubtedly fall.
