Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Independent Communal Agency for Water and Electricity Distribution in Oujda has announced that starting April 22, there will be a reduction in the flow of drinking water, potentially leading to cut-offs in some areas of the city.

The agency stated that this reduction is part of the canal renewal efforts starting from the Machraa Hammadi dam, with work on the final segment of the canal commencing next Monday.

The decrease in water flow will occur from 4 PM to 6 AM the following morning, with a gradual return to normal water distribution expected by Monday, April 29. The agency has thanked its customers for their understanding and has urged residents of Oujda to conserve water and use it sparingly during this period.
