As reported by the General Treasury of the Kingdom, a budget surplus of more than 16.8 billion dirhams was realized up to the end of March 2024.
This represents a substantial increase from the surplus of 6.2 billion dirhams recorded the previous year.
The reported surplus incorporates a positive balance of 21.8 billion dirhams stemming from the Treasury’s private accounts and state facilities managed independently.
