Surge in Autism Cases Among Education Staff’s Children in Morocco

Chakib Benmoussa, the Minister of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports, recently disclosed an increase in autism cases amongst education staff’s children in Morocco.

The minister pointed to his ministry’s social works achievements for 2023, noting that more than 143,000 families have benefited from a supplementary health coverage service.

According to him, over 305,000 healthcare cases have been taken charge of, including severe and chronic ones.

The Minister alerted that a significant rise in autism cases was noticed in Morocco.
