The Court of Appeal in Fes has postponed the baby trafficking case that took place in Fes hospitals.

The president of the primary criminal chamber for financial crimes at the Court of Appeal listened to all witnesses and declarants, including parents, private security guards, and victims of blackmail in said hospitals.

During yesterday’s session, one witness confirmed that he had handed over 1000 dirhams to one of the security guards involved in the case, and the same amount to the real mother after her pregnancy.

The same witness explained that the incident occurred in the Ghassani Hospital where he was inquiring about the legal adoption procedure, before one of the guards proposed “to him to arrange for him to get a baby for a small amount instead of going through the necessary procedures which require a significant amount of time and effort.”
