According to H24Info news outlet, Security forces have dispersed two demonstrations in the Sahara by force these past few days, as reported by local NGOs.

According to the same sources, a dozen of people were injured during the pro-independence gatherings. However, such numbers were not verified by official sources.

In Dakhla, activists were stopped from raising separatist flags during the visit of members of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

On Thursday, dozens of people wanted to participate in a rally in Laayoune, but the police intervened again to disperse them, according to Iguilid Hamoud, member of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights.
