Morocco Goes Back to GMT+1 on August 2

The Ministry in charge of public service announced earlier that Morocco will go back to GMT+1 few days after the folding of the month of Ramadan.

This said, sixty minutes should be added to your clocks, starting from August 2, at 2 a.m..

The move is part of Morocco’s daylight saving time, where Moroccans advance their clocks, during the summer months that have more daylight, in order for people to get up earlier in the morning and experience more daylight in the evening, ergo save energy.
