Karim Benzema is set to sign a new contract with Real Madrid.
El Confidencial says Benzema has agreed a new €7 million-a-year deal with Real management, Tribal Football reported.
The agreement runs to 2018 and will see his salary begin at €6.5 million and rise to €7.5 million in the final year.
Real’s senior players Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos had urged president Florentino Perez to deal in their younger teammate, as had coach Carlo Ancelotti.
