AFRICA CEO FORUM 2014

PARIS, France-The next AFRICA CEO FORUM, which was to be held in Abidjan, will now take place in Geneva on the planned dates of 16 and 17 March 2015. This decision, taken in consultation with the presidency of the African Development Bank and the Ivorian authorities, was prompted by the organisers’ desire to ensure the smooth running of the Forum, amid uncertainty generated by the Ebola epidemic.

CÔTE D’IVOIRE TO TAKE PRIDE OF PLACE IN GENEVA:

The original host country, Côte d’Ivoire, will be one of the guests of honour at the 2015 AFRICA CEO FORUM. It will thus have an opportunity to showcase its economic vitality and its investment potential to the financiers and business leaders gathered together in Geneva.

Since its creation in 2012, the AFRICA CEO FORUM has established itself as the foremost arena for discussion between top African business leaders and prominent business and political figures from Africa and all over the world.

With five months to go until the event opens its doors, the number and calibre of people who have already signed up suggest that the 2015 AFRICA CEO FORUM will turn out to be just as successful as previous editions and will once again attract a record number of participants.

The AFRICA CEO FORUM was established in partnership with the African Development Bank. It is hosted by Groupe Jeune Afrique, which publishes ‘Jeune Afrique’ and ‘The Africa Report’ , and by Rainbow Unlimited, a Swiss company that specialises in organising economic development events. The first AFRICA CEO FORUM took place in Geneva in 2012. Since then, it has become the foremost international meeting of top African business leaders, providing them with an opportunity to discuss economic development in Africa with their counterparts and with top-ranking political and economic decision-makers.
