Until the very time of writing these lines, Morocco did not officially communicate about the sending of several F16s to Syria and Iraq to help fight the so-called “Islamic” State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Nevertheless, the leading American news outlet The New York Times did.
In an article entitled “U.S. Adds Planes to Bolster Drive to Wipe Out ISIS,” the leading American outlet said that “Morocco is the latest Arab nation to respond to an American appeal for more firepower, sending several F-16s to the fight.”
The article did not specify how many F16s were sent to the raging battlefield, and only stated that Morocco sent “several F16s.”
