Rabat, Morocco- A little boy that goes by the name Rayan was taken in utmost urgency to a local hospital in Marrakech to undertake a surgery after he was attacked and bitten severely in his face and throat by a stray pit-bull.
The sad event occurred near the hometown of Lahrarta, located in the vicinity of Marrakesh.
The little boy and his mom were undertaking a family promenade, before being surprised by the Pitt-bull’s attack.
The dog tried to kill the boy after sinking his teeth into the kid’s throat.
Fortunately for the little boy, his dad and other family members came to the rescue on the fly after hearing the mom’s shouts and screams.
According to the little boy’s family, the Pit-bull belongs to a group of around 120 stray dogs, who attack from time to time the various flock of sheep that graze in the vicinity of the region, an area well-known for its good pasturage.
The Moroccan national TV broadcaster Al Ouwla did not specify in its reportage on the sad event whether the authorities have successfully seized the stray Pit-bull or not.
