Rabat, Morocco- A “Credit Du Maroc” Bank agency in the Moroccan city of Meknes witnessed a hollywoody-like scene, whereby two individuals, masked and armed with knives and tear gas shell-bombs broke into the bank, located in the Kortoba neighborhood, few minutes after noon, last Wednesday and stole a considerable amount of money, before fleeing the place.
According to local reports, the individuals stole exactly a total amount of 270,000 DHs and were seen jumping into a Peugeot 205 car when fleeing.
They used the tear gas shell-bombs to scare and dissuade the employees and the bank’s clients.
A witness reported that he has seen a car that bears the same description of that of the perpetrators on the National highway number 6, while en route between Fes and Meknes.
