Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Kingdom of Morocco launched today a new initiative that aims at tackling the scourge of bribery.
Moroccans from all stripes will be able to report any case of bribery by calling the hotline number 08.00.00.47.47.
According to the Moroccan Minister of Communication Mr. Mustapha El Khalfi, this initiative aims at “alleviating the administrative and judicial laws that hinder reporting bribery cases, while at the same time ensuring the identity protection of bribery whistle-blowers.”
El Khalfi further noted that “the received phone calls will be then transferred to a group of judges and concerned staff, who will afterwards coordinate with the Department of Public Prosecutions” on every case.
