Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan police arrested a man who attacked a female police officer on Thursday, in Khenifra, when she asked his friend, a Citroen C15 driver, to show him the vehicle’s documents after committing a moving violation.
According to local witnesses, the attack was shocking and brutal and the man viciously attacked the female police officer.
The man threw her down, banged her head on the ground several times, and even dragged her at some point of time.
The officer was taken in urgency to a local hospital after the assault.
The assaulter is currently in custody.
The female officer’s condition is still critical, but she is expected to survive.
