At least 30 People Dead, Dozens Wounded Following Terrorist Attacks in Turkey

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- More than 30 people have been killed while 60 others were injured following three terrorist explosions at Istanbul Ataturk Airport on Tuesday, June 28 in Turkey.

Istanbul governor Vasip Sahin said that three bombers were also killed.

According to Anadolu news agency, six of the wounded are in dangerous situation.

Turkey’s minister of justice Bekir Bozdag said that “one terrorist first opened fire with a Kalashnikov then detonated himself”.

CNN reported that the “Police are not letting anyone in … Hundreds of people are flooding away from airport… People are trying to get away. They’re not saying much — just the look on their face is enough, shock, some of them bleeding…”

According to CNN, a Turkish official said that the police fired shots at suspects near the international terminal in an attempt to stop them.
