Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Nacer Zefzafi was subject to corporal and moral acts of violence as the authorities (public forces) forced him to smell stinky smelly socks and beat him in various parts of his body, among others, said Abdessadeq Bouchtaoui, member of the local coordinator of the Defense Body league to Defend the Arrested Rifi Activists.

Bouchtaoui, who spoke to Moroccan outlet Hibapress right after visiting Nacer Zefzafi in Casablanca said that “Nacer is morally strong and is healthy, even though he was subject to violence when he was arrested.”

Bouchtaoui said that Zefzafi has a bruise under his left eye, including “an injury at the level of his head.”

“He was beaten by a rod upon his arrest,” Bouchtaoui added.

“Nacer was subject to disgraceful practices, among which they forced him to smell stinky smelly socks, putting them on his nose and mouth,” Bouchtaoui added.

“He was also subject to moral abuse. He was called “son of the Spanish People”, “Son of a Bitch”, among others,” Bouchtaoui stressed.

“All arrested activists were subject to forms of violence, corporal and moral, before being handed over to the Judicial Office (Dabita Kadaiya),” Bouchtaoui added.

“Once he was handed to the National Brigade of Judicial Police, he was no more subject to the aforementioned practices,” Bouchtaoui stressed.
