Oxford professor Dr. Tariq Ramadan will be featuring tonight and next week on Moroccan state run Television 2M to hash it out on his last co-authored book with Edgard Morin.
The Swiss intellectual will be bringing forth many topics ranging from “Can Islam and Secularism Coexist ?”, “Women’s Rights”, “Political Islam and the Rising Islamophobia scourge”, to “Tariq Ramadan and the Double Discourse”.
The show named Al Naqeed (The Critic) starts at 11 PM Moroccan time.
Tariq Ramadan will feature tonight as well as next Tuesday on the show hosted by Moroccan writer and journalist Ahmed Zaid.
It is worth pointing out that Tariq Ramadan was ranked by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people on earth.
Tariq Ramadan is also well known for his call for reform in the Islamic world.
The intellectual has triggered both widespread support and outrage from both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
