The late Alexandre Strens.

Alexandre Strens, the 25-year-old who was working in the Jewish Museum of Brussels, passed away recently in Belgium.

The late was in a coma state since May 24. He and 3 other people were subject to a terrorist act that have seen suspected Mehdi Nemmouche, a terrorist who spent more than a year fighting with radical jihadists in Syria, commit a shooting in the Jewish Museum of Brussels.

Belgian media said Alexander Strens is set to be laid to rest in a Muslim cemetery in Taza, Morocco.

Strens will be buried next to his grandparents.

Many Belgian media outlets said an agreement between his mother, who is Jewish, and his father, a Kabyle Berber, was reached to bury him in Taza, Morocco.

Once again, The Moroccan Times team condemns all forms of terrorist acts.

The Moroccan Times team members express conjointly their sincere condolences to the Strens family as well as to the other victims’ families.
