On the sidelines of the establishment of the new Kingdom of the new Iraqi Government, the Moroccan government release a communiqué in which it stated that “the Kingdom of Morocco considers the fact of obtaining the Parliament’s confidence by the new Iraqi Government a major step in the way of political stability and the restoration of peace and security in brotherly Iraq.”
“Morocco expresses its hope that the government consolidates national unity between all components of the Iraqi people on the basis of citizenship and common destiny, away from sectarian tendencies which represent a fertile ground for extremism and terrorism. The Kingdom also hopes that the new Iraqi government completes its composition on those grounds which would have to govern all the government’s actions and future programs for the building of the country’s institutions and the achievement of development,” the communiqué added.
