The Moroccan daily Al Massae said in today’s edition, relaying the piece of news from the third Spanish public channel television, that the Moroccan authorities have refused to grant permission to a plane, carrying a Norwegian national who is infected with the Ebola virus, to land in a Moroccan airport for aerial refueling purposes.

The Moroccan daily, which did not specify the name of the airport, said that the airplane then asked the Portuguese authorities to grant them the permission to land in their territories, but they refused as well.

Al Massae went on further to add that the “Ebola flight” was carrying a Norwegian nurse who contracted the virus in Sierra Leone.

The nurse had to be transported “in full emergency to Norway in order to receive the necessary treatments,” Al Massae closed.
