Rabat, Morocco(TMT)- The Moroccan Ministry of Interior released a new statement regarding the recently snatched ISIS terrorist cell in Oujda that included two Turkish nationals and a Moroccan accomplice, sharing more information about the cell’s modus operandi.

The Moroccan Ministry of Interior said that “the Turkish national involved in hacking telephone communications of a national operator, using developed technical equipment, was planning to use the illegal money he would get from his criminal actions to sponsor a series of terrorist attacks in Syria, Iraq, and elsewhere.”

The Ministry’s statement also said that said Turkish national has helped many ISIS terrorists cross to Europe in the guise of refugees.

This Turkish national “was nominated by ISIS leaders as head of the ‘Shari’a committee’ in Syria’s Hama province,” Morocco’s Ministry of Interior’s statement further noted.
