Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A huge number of students in the city of Al Hoceima are still boycotting schools today, for the second day in a row.

The students, from which many are still minor, took to the streets this morning and continued their protests over the gruesome death of Mohcine Fikri, the 31-year-old fishmonger.

Many of the students, after gathering in the city center, plan to march to Imzouren, the pocket city of town where Mohcine was laid to rest last Sunday.

It is worth reminding that Morocco witnessed on sunday an unprecedented wave of peaceful protests across various cities of the Kingdom, with far more people in the streets of the kingdom yesterday than in the wake of the Arab spring.

Peaceful protests also took place on Monday in Al Hoceima, Khouribega, Azrou, among other small cities.
