Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Two officials were incarcerated following the tragic death of a 20-year-old and a married man in his 40s in a marble quarry in the Khénifra province.
Both were sent to a local prison by the public prosecutor a few days following the death of two persons, while yesterday the public prosecutor decided to detain the individuals on charges of “involuntary manslaughter.”
The workers’ deaths came as a result of neglecting safety regulations and failing to follow the safety measures in said quarry.
