Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- On the sidelines of the “National Initiative to shelter homeless people,” amid the coronavirus outbreak in the kingdom, Morocco’s Minister of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality, and Family Jamila El Moussali said her Ministry was able to beef up the number of sheltered homeless persons across the kingdom to 5000, an increase of 2000 in comparison to last week’s figures.
El Moussalialso said they managed to conciliate 1500 people with their families, further stressing that those latter are now back to the family cocoon.
This represents an increase of more than 1300 cases from last week’s figures.
