New York, USA- The United States is ramping up pressure on China to share information on the origins of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus which has beset the world in an economic stalemate.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview given to Fox News yesterday that China has “to come clean” on the virus.
Pompeo added that the US wants “the Chinese government to open up” and share all information it has on the spread of the virus, further noting that China should help explain “exactly how this virus spread.”
“There is still lots to learn,” about the coronavirus Pompeo said.
“The United States government is working diligently to figure it out,” Pompeo noted.
It is worth reminding that US Army General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said two days ago that the US military did not rule out the possibility that the novel coronavirus was created in a laboratory.
