Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Jean-Luc Mélenchon, a french presidency candidate and the head of the France Insoumise parliamentarian group lambasted the “calamitous management” of the COVID-19 pandemic in France while cajoling and praising Morocco’s COVID-19 management plan, especially the swift efforts made by the kingdom to create a new ecosystem able to produce 7 million face masks per day.
“France should take Morocco as an example in this area,” Mélanchon said.
Answering another parliamentarian who questioned his statement, Mélencho replied, “yes Morocco is doing great. It is my homeland (he was born in Tangier) and it deserves your admiration.”
