Peugeot Citroën to resume its industrial and commercial activities in Morocco

Kenitra, Morocco (TMT)- PSA Group said in a statement the resumption of its industrial activities in Morocco will be gradual and phased, a statement from the company stated.

The company’s production site in Kenitra will reopen again to respond to customer demand in the Kingdom and internationally.

The company said a “progressive and secured restart” will take place starting from Wednesday, “in a context of resumption of commercial activities” around the world.

PSA Group said various health guidelines will be taken amid the spread of COVID-19, measures to accommodate the exceptional health situation, in accordance with the health recommendations shared by the Moroccan Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.

Yann Vincent, Executive Vice President manufacturing of Groupe PSA, said that “protecting our employees and protecting our company remain the two intangible principles for the conduct of our operations.”

“Our enhanced measures protocol offers a high level of protection to our employees and is the first criterion for restarting our production sites,” Yann Vincent stressed.
