Morocco’s COVID-19 testing capacity reaches 3000 tests a day

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)-  Morocco’s testing capacity has increased during the last few days to reach 3000 tests per day, according to the Moroccan Ministry of Health.

To date, all COVID-19 tests are performed in 9 testing centers across the kingdom.

This includes Morocco’s university hospitals (CHU Casablanca, CHU Rabat, CHU Oujda, CHU Fès, CHU Marrakech, and CHU Agadir), as well as the Pasteur Institute of Casablanca, Morocco’s National Hygiene Institute, and the military hospital of Rabat.

At the time of writing, Morocco has performed since the start of the pandemic more than 60,000 tests.
