Tangier, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan police said it has investigated a video circulating on social media platforms showing women abusing a little cat.
The authorities said many Moroccans lodged a complaint regarding the incident.
The Moroccan authorities said in a communiqué that the women in the video “are not Moroccan women and are not residing in Tangier, rather Malaysian women.”
The authorities also stressed that the video “was recorded in Malaysia and not in Tangier, Morocco.”
They also noted that said women “were arrested and sentenced in Singapore” for their evil acts.
