Mohamed Amekraz: 21 industrial units were closed for not adhering to COVID-19 guidelines

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Moroccan Labor Minister Mohamed Amekraz said 21 industrial units were closed for not taking adequate measures and adhering to social distancing guidelines to combat COVID-19.

The companies in question employ 17,283 persons in cities like Casablanca, Tangier, Larache, Rabat, Salé, and Kénitra, Amkraz said in an interview with Le360.

Other enterprises were also sanctioned but were not shut down. They did not adequately adhere to all measures to fight COVID-19.
