Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Three individuals were arrested today in the pocket city of Aïn Atiq, located 30Kms south of the capital Rabat, on suspicion of engaging in the illicit trade of psychotropic pills. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 38,040 psychotropic pills, in addition to a considerable amount of money.
The operation was conducted by the anti-gang brigade unit, based on precise information provided by the General Directorate of National Territory Surveillance (DGST).
As per a statement issued by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the operation yielded the seizure of 22,080 Zepam pills and 15,960 Nordaz pills.
An investigation will be conducted with the three individuals to reveal the other members of the gang.
