Al Akhawayn University Hosts Synopsium on Migration, Interfaith, and Intercultural Dialogue

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The forthcoming third international symposium for social sciences, entitled “Migration, Interfaith, and Intercultural Dialogue: Opportunities and Challenges,” is scheduled to be held by the Moroccan Community Council Abroad at the Conference and Training Center of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane from May 12th to May 14th, 2023.

The objective of the seminar is to make a substantial contribution towards fostering scholarly discourse, exchanging valuable experiences and expertise on migration, interfaith and intercultural dialogue, within the context of meaningful strategic cooperation and partnership between the Moroccan Community Council Abroad, Al Akhawayn University, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Rabat, and the Ibn Khaldoun Center for Migration and Citizenship Studies.

The organizers emphasized that the conference will comprise an opening session, an inaugural lesson, five scientific sessions, ten workshops, and discussions of the conference’s papers. Moreover, there will be book signing and award ceremonies, as well as an exhibition of social science books. In addition, a ceremony to present the international award for the best doctoral thesis in social sciences on migration will also be held.

More than 120 distinguished participants hailing from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Palestine, Yemen, Oman, Lebanon, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, and England are slated to attend this event.
