Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Morocco and Russia resumed yesterday direct flights between Casablanca and Moscow.
A new direct flight between Rabat and Moscow was also introduced.
In March 2022, Royal Air Maroc temporarily stopped its air service to Russia. Prior to that, the company had suspended flights to Russia in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
These flights were suspended in March 2020, and resumed in early February 2022, but were suspended again after one month, amid the global boycott campaign against Russia.
The flights between Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport and Casablanca will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays until the end of the summer season.
